He has secured a a trial verdict record, a personal injury settlements on file, and structured more than in cross-border banking and finance transactions for institutional clients — including serving as US-side special counsel to a Canadian corporation handling over $500 million in US commercial real estate transactions. In November, 2022, Manny successfully recovered $2.135 million on behalf of a catastrophically injured client.

Manmeet (Manny) Chahal’s primary practice lies in corporate law. Manny has extensive experience in the areas of corporate finance, commercial real estate, and banking transactions. Manny has experience with representing clients in numerous states across the United States in multi-million-dollar commercial real estate transactions. He works primarily in leasing, acquisitions, and sales of commercial property. Manny also has experience with numerous cross-border (Canada and US) bank financing transactions. In these, he has successfully represented corporate clients in securing funding over 1.5 billion dollars.
Manny’s practice also consists of handling catastrophic personal injury cases. In January 2019, Manny successfully recovered dollars in a motor vehicle accident case on behalf of a client who was catastrophically injured in a motor vehicle versus pedestrian accident. This was in a no-fault insurance case by obtaining a unanimous jury trial verdict in Wayne County, Michigan.
Following graduation from undergraduate school at the University of Western Ontario and prior to becoming an attorney, Manny worked for the Royal Bank of Canada in Downtown, Toronto.
Manny has also interned with the Legislative Assembly of Ontario where he worked alongside a Member of Provincial Parliament. In his free time, Manny enjoys golfing and traveling.
